On Homecoming Day in Los Angeles where the Trojans took no prisoners, Senator Mark Ridley-Thomas was working hard to get out the vote. I joined him for part of that last weekend push. I was there again on Election day, Tuesday, November 4.

I will never forget that historic moment at the Century Plaza... President OBAMA!!!

I always knew that I could do things. At that moment, I knew that I could do anything!

And just when I had collected myself a bit, Mark Ridley-Thomas won like a USC Trojan! Now, that's a homecoming!

As they say in the Ross commercial, "It's a brand new day!"
