May 30, 2009 [Los Angeles] Follow me on a journey today as I document the wedding of Joshua and Marsha. This represents an exciting experiment for me as a wedding photographer! The ability to provide their friends and family, near and far, with a chance to feel the love. Perfection on the first attempt would be great. One thing that I do know for sure... It should be fun. I will be updating throughout the day. I'm a photographer, not a videographer... but I'm going to use my Canon G9 to post some video too! Updates will also appear on Twitter [@photoham] & Facebook. Enjoy!
Just spoke with Marsha... slow start to the morning on her end. I plan to be @ the hotel at noon regardless, ready to rumble! I"ll meet the guys first.
Parting thoughts... Tech is great when it works! I never thought that cell service would be so bad in an Los Angeles hotel. The back up plan was to pay for Wi-Fi... what, no Wi-Fi? Still, a quick move of the computer closer to the window, and I had a signal with my phone card.
The Canon G9 worked well for video. It's the small point & shoot that I carry around for quick stuff when the regular bag is too much. I posted more observations about the wedding day on my blog
